This morning we are going to discuss "Blessings in Disguise."
Sometimes, you can do everything right and it seems like everything still goes wrong. Or at least it can appear that way from our perspective.
I want you to consider - Have you ever experienced a situation that on the surface, appeared to be a calamity, but in the end resulted in a blessing?
These things happen more often than we think – or perhaps more often than we realize.
The problem we all face when confronted with sudden calamity and hard times – is to see the silver lining – when the storm clouds are so much easier to see.
The Lesson? It is impossible for us to know whether the things that happen in life are truly good or bad, as one event inevitably leads to another, and we are unable to see the conclusion of all these events.
HOWEVER à For those who have trusted Christ Jesus as their Lord and Savior –The good times, the calamities and everything in between, are passing chapters in a book whose ending has already been written – AND made known to us.
God knows every one of your days and every one of your hours. Moment to moment the Sovereign, Living God is ensuring that HIS WILL is done on earth as it is in heaven.
God has an ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE – you and I are living one breath at a time.
1 Corinthians 2:9 as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no heart has imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him.”
I hope this morning we all learn to see things with a more positive perspective, regardless of what challenges we are handed. Our God is in control - and he has called you into this amazing relationship with Him - where He promises at the end of all things - we will be with Him in Paradise, eternally.
Join us in ACTS 25:1-12 and I pray you are blessed with this message.
