We have all been there. The vehicle breakdown on a family vacation. Cancelled flights. All manner of calamities that can occur. It is in our natural state that we look at these things, become frustrated, and sometimes even question if God knows what He is doing. The answer is- He does!
Remember that none of the calamities that come into our lives are surprises to God. And so if God knew it was coming, and allowed it to happen, and if we are to praise God in all things (Psalm 150:6) then as we grow in our love, trust, and understanding of God, we need to grow in our ability to see the reasons for wrecks that come our way.
Said another way – When God sends a wreck your way, you are not stuck, you have been planted. So bear fruit where you are!
Today in ACTS 28:1-10, we are going to follow the Apostle Paul after being shipwrecked to see how God works through the storm to bring glory to His name!
