Have you ever noticed how frustrating incomplete things can be? I remember trying to assemble toys we bought for the kids when they were little, and how frustrating it was to be missing some key part that allowed final assembly. I would rummage through all the packaging and the workspace around me first hoping, and then frantically panicking that I wouldn’t be able to complete the project.
I’ve had it happen with art projects, where the one color I wanted to use is missing – and I had to “settle” for something less.
Puzzles are the WORST! Hours and hours to complete this beautiful image hidden by the scattered pieces and there you are, done, but not done, with missing pieces and an empty box… arrgh!
In today’s lesson, we meet a man named Apollos, who, while having many pieces of the beautiful truth about the Messiah, did not have the complete picture. And the pieces he was missing were the ones that would lead him and others to salvation!
Today, we will discover all the pieces along with Apollos so that we, like him, can ensure that we have the complete teaching about Jesus that leads us to that perfect relationship with our Lord and Savior. Join me in Acts 18:24-28 and 19:1-7
